There were three bunnies in our yard last night. Ruby loves bunnies, she likes to chase them. We explained to her if she’s very careful and quiet then she can get closer to see them. She did so good but was still sad when they ran off 😂

I had my first photo session since March last nigh

I had my first photo session since March last night, it felt soooo good to be back to work. I smiled all the way back to my car when I was done, it was an awesome session to start back up with! ❤️ I’ve been vigilant about taking a picture a day for the past two months so that I didn’t get out of the habit of using my camera and have to relearn. It happened to me once when I took at a break at the end of my pregnancy with Ruby - and my first session back was all thumbs. Keeping all those brain - hand connections fresh, I’m not as young as I used to be 😉😌 I was gone for 45 minutes and Ruby fell asleep. Long summer days have begun!

I’ve stayed pretty motivated during the great pa

I’ve stayed pretty motivated during the great pause but then our Mt Rainier hike was canceled and I most definitely threw a pity party for at least a week. My chiropractor (who I should probably start compensating as my therapist 😂) said I can throw a very short pity party ☺️ so I did and then decided to do some big things I’ve been putting off for lack of time! Anyone who knows me knows I love to thrift and I cannot leave anything retro, vintage or cool behind. It doesn’t necessarily fit my home decor but I’m propelled to save it from impending doom so unwittingly I became a collector of all things vintage. It’s very organized but Jeff wants his office back 😬 I’ve had an online store for vintage clothing and textiles for quite a while, it’s a hobby that I love love love but the big things were slowly piling and I lacked vision for them. My friend Betsy who owns the Antique Mall told me they have a room available and within three hours I talked to Jeff and made arrangements with Betsy and I now have my own space! ❤️ with SO much help from my family, we’ve removed wallpaper, scrubbed walls, deep cleaned carpets, designed the space and now I’m about 50% done with my new room! I can’t help but smile when I go there - it’s like an extension of me and I love it. And I’m also happy we can gain some space back in the house, it’s a win win! The plan is to have it open by June 1st ❤️

One of my very favorite family & friends activities that we purchased so many years ago (where has the time gone!?) We’ve had hours of fun and snuggles with our outdoor theatre in our jammies 🥰 the first movie we played at this house was Godzilla & it was so loud 😂 we’ve learned a few lessons along the way, I think this was my favorite spot for the screen!
