bringing a new baby home has always been overwhelming for me, I think it comes more naturally to some people than others.

I have to tell you, from the second I walked into Ashley’s home everything was this amazing organized chaos. then I snapped to it and remembered there was a tiny newborn in the house. Ashley was just so calm, cool and collected (and she looked amazing), that I completely forgot that they were now a family of five. this mama is with it, she may not feel that way right now but I think she is incredible and was so honored to be there to photograph this awesome time in their lives.

I have no doubt that these two brothers are going to be the best big brothers to this precious baby girl. she has a lot to keep up with – I cannot wait to see them interact as she grows!

behind the camera | this session was a hodgepodge of sessions and I kind of loved it. I combined my portrait-style sessions with my in-home family documentary session and was very stoked by the outcome. It doesn’t get more real than trying to get kids dressed!
