When Tristen contacted me to do a one-year anniversary session I was seriously so excited. What a fun idea and neat way to commemorate an anniversary – I was on board immediately. We kicked around a few locations from downtown to coffee shops and ultimately decided to meet up at Defiance Brewery.

This session was laid back and just a lot of fun – these two are all smiles and laughter and I love their dynamic. Happy one year to you both!

I shot this entire session with a Canon 5D Mark III & a 35mm 1.4 lens. This lens was perfect for the documentary style that I was going for and worked great for the low light atmosphere.
