Heya! So it’s been a hot minute since I posted. I took a much needed break from all social media to refocus on my family, rediscover my health, redefine my personal peace and seek to balance my personal life with the ambitious goals I have for my work life. The daily is definitely not perfect and mostly still chaos but my what a ride it has been. I do have to say it’s really encouraging to look back at my last post and remember where I was and focus what I’m striving to be.
Instead of overwhelming myself and trying to catch up with several years of sessions here I will be adding favorites from my interim to my portfolio and starting new on the blog from the present. I am not going to commit to posting regularly because let’s be real – I already know I’m going to fail. I will commit to showing up here irregularly but more frequently. This creative space has always been cathartic for me and I’m looking forward to being back here!

I met Elianna last weekend to take her college senior portraits – what an awesome accomplishment and really love that she chose to commemorate it with a portrait session. She is so confident – she killed it in that black dress and that tattoo is gorgeous. We had mostly diffused light until the clouds passed right at the end.

Session was shot in ambient light with a Canon 5D Mark III & 50mm 1.2 – no I still have not upgraded and yes it is still my all-time favorite lens.
